fully regain his abilities, Pat made
the tough decision to leave on his
own terms. He passed away on
March 27, 2008. Billy’s car was his
last project.
The car made its public debut
at the Long Island Motorsports
Reunion held in Wantagh, Long
Island in March of 2008. Billy, his
brother Bobby along with Mike
Sforza were there to see what
turned out to be a stunning piece
of drag racing history. Although
the car was brought in on a
flatbed truck, clearly a trailer was
needed. Not just any trailer as with
everything Billy does is first class.
What better trailer to put his jewel
in but a fabled Mr. Ed trailer. These
trailers are as scarce to find as
Faberge Eggs. I was able to help
Billy find one in Texas. Dave West
who has the Beebe & Mulligan Segrini checks things out prior to an afternoon warmup at 2013 NEHRR.
